PGL stated that the weapon refund bug has been banned

During the second day of the PGL Astana group stage on May 11th, in the match ODDIK vs G2 at the second map (Dust 2), players of the ODDIK team buy a Scouts to pick Mid, get tags. Furthermore, they then dropped to teammates to refund them. This is a bug in Counter Strike which allows you to drop a weapon, shoot, and then sell it.

After this the player of ODDIK WOOD7 replied that this has been “allowed by PGL, we confirmed before using it” on Twitter (or X how you like it).

On May 12, WOOD7 wrote on X that “PGL just banned refund”, “They’ve just banned refund”, “Unfortunately, I had another cool Deagle round up my sleeve that I won’t be able to use.” - stated ODDIK captain.

Despite losing the second map 13-3 to G2, ODDIK won the series 2-1.
